Ben was my favorite uncle. He was a star basketball player at East End High and actually got me interested in the game. Ben was always a "teenager" at heart. He enjoyed life until his death, although he was partially paralyzed years prior, he never let that be a stumbling block.
We will always remember him as the life of the party at family gatherings. We especially remember him driving around South Hill in his mint condition "57" Chevy looking like the sport that he was.
