Comments:
4 years in the United Air Force after High School 1964-1968 with a tour in Vietnam; After Air Force graduated from VA State University (1972) with BS Degree in Agricultural Economics; After graduation worked some months with the USDA (VA Extension Service); During summer 1972, married E. Colleen Beloate from Petersburg and moved to Tennessee to take a position with the Tennessee Valley Authority (Government Agency) as a Land Use Specialist. Retired from that agency in Oct 2008 with 36 years. Also, retired from the TN Air National Guard in Jun 2006 with 29 years of total military service. Since retirement have been working some as a retiree contractor with the TN Valley Authority.
